Dr. Kshitij “KJ” Manchanda is thrilled to bring his expertise in foot and ankle care to OrthoTexas. Dr. Manchanda specializes in providing personalized treatment for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including acute and chronic injuries, sports medicine, ankle arthritis and replacements, tendon disorders, and minimally invasive reconstruction techniques.
Dr. Manchanda completed his medical degree and orthopedic surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical School. He then pursued advanced training in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at the Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. During his fellowship, he gained extensive experience in innovative treatments such as total ankle replacement and 3D-printed constructs for foot and ankle reconstruction, while also caring for athletes and active individuals from across the country. Following his fellowship, he served as an assistant professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, a renowned university teaching program.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Manchanda has made significant contributions to the field. His achievements include research publications and presentations, surgical technique videos, and a chapter in Current Diagnosis and Treatments in Orthopedics. In recognition of his dedication to patient care, he was honored with the W. Brandon Carrell Distinguished Physician Award in 2020 by UT Southwestern’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
A Plano, Texas, native, Dr. Manchanda is excited to provide care to the North Dallas area. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, playing and watching sports, and collecting and building LEGOs.
